The doctor said today that Avery is looking great and the plan is to transport her back to Waconia tomorrow. We've learned that Children's is a Level III nursery, so they can take babies born before 34 weeks, and Waconia is a Level II nursery. They don't typically take babies born earlier then 34 weeks, so that is why Avery had to go to Children's. Anyway, she has been keeping down her food and keeping her own temp, so it looks like she is ready to go! The plan is to move her back in the morning. They are going to do a few more tests, just to be certain, but it looks like we will be in Waconia tomorrow. We can't wait!! The doctors and nurses here at Children's have been so wonderful, but we are ready to go. One step closer to home!
