Busy Busy Busy!

Well it was back to school this week for the Bahn's, hence the lack in posting.  I am going to try my best to post once a week once school starts.  It was a busy week.  Avery was back to daycare, and that went great.  She has lots of friends to play with out there, and I think they were excited to have her back.  Not too much else going on otherwise.  We are just trying to enjoy our last days of summer with Avery!  She has been busy again.  She has also been pushing her little walker things all by herself.  She can take a few steps with them, and then falls.  It is pretty cool.  I took a video of it, and will try to get that up here soon.  (Videos are a pain to upload :) Oh..we are also anxiously awaiting our friends Jay and Ang, and Nick and Amy to have their babies!  They are both due next week, so hopefully we will have some new baby friends soon!!  Here are just a couple random snapshots from the last few days.

Avery's New Chair

Her new thing is she likes to play in the refrigerator when we open it for something.  She is there in a flash! (Please look past the total emptiness that is our refrigerator right now)

Her new sweet ride (on loan from Noah and Ansley - it was their when they were little!  I vividly remember Noah in this!)
Just because this is my new favorite outfit! Her little thighs are too cute in these leggings!
Working on a nap with Daddy, and probably watching the Twins!

The park..and the face!

So we went to the park today, and Avery wasn't loving it today!  She usually LOVES the park.  It was pretty hot, and as you can see, she just wasn't really having it.  And we finally captured Avery's new face she can make.  She does this scrunchy up nose and mouth thing, and it is too funny!
Looking less then thrilled on the teeter totter with Daddy
The slide was okay
The swing was a little better
And............the face!
Close up of the face!

More picture practice!

I hope you're not getting tired of my picture posts yet.  So I got to practice my picture skills on my niece and nephew, Noah and Ansley, again this weekend.  This time they got all dolled up and Noah was there too.  It's so fun when you have such beautiful kids to practice on.  I need all the practice I can get, so if you want me to practice with your kiddos, let me know and I would LOVE to!  I won't promise anything too great yet, but you won't be out anything but maybe a little time, and hopefully we'll get some good ones for you!    These are just a few of my favorites from the weekend..I think there are about 150 of them! I may have a problem :)

Noah's senior picture :)

(Played with a chocolate tone on this one..kind of fun!)

(Need some more practice on two kids together..this one is a tad blurry, but I still like it)

Noah looking so cool - what  a little stud

Yes, she poses all on her own :)
Love her in black and white

9 Months

I didn't really post a 9 month update.   She was 9 months on Aug. 2nd.  Wow..where did that time go?  The dr. appt. went great.  She weighed 19 lbs. and 11 oz. and was 28 in. long.  She is in the 70% for both (that is on the normal chart, not adjusted for her being a preemie)!  No teeth yet, but Cullen didn't get them until he was 1, so we will see!  I like her little gummy smile anyway :)  This is my new favorite pic of her!

Avery and her Friends!

Wednesday night we met up with 4 of my friends from my master's class at the park.  We all had babies within 6 months of each other.  Avery is the baby of the bunch!  The others turned one in May, July and just at the beginning of August.  We had lots of fun.  Avery loves playing with other kids.  I think she is going to be pretty excited to go back to daycare and find her friends!

Go Brewers!

Cullen's baseball team that he plays on in the summer, the Brewers, have made it to the state tourney!  The even beat Chaska the other night to get the #1 seed.  Avery got decked out in her Brewer shirt (and matching bow!) to cheer on her Daddy!  She is a good little fan! :)

Nieces and Nephews!!

My family had their annual fantasy football draft this weekend at my mom and dad's house, and it just so happened to be the same day I got my new camera lens!  So I brought it with and the nieces and nephews let me try it out on them.  As you can see, they hated having their picture taken!  It was nice to finally have a subject that doesn't try to crawl away from me!  Avery enjoyed her time off :) The new lens is lots of fun and I can't wait to try it out some more.  You might notice Noah is missing from the pics..he was busy with the draft, and was too busy for pics. (I didn't even tell them how to pose..they are just that photogenic on their own...crazy kids!)

New Background!

So I purchased two new camera items last week, the first arrived in the mail today!  I got a new portrait lens (not here yet) and there was a deal on seamless photo paper with the purchase of a lens, so I got this awesome grey color backdrop.  I just happened to find two kind helpers to let me try it out.  I was so excited, these were literally taken about 5 minutes after we pulled into the driveway.  Just long enough for me to get the box open, paper up and go get my camera!  So they aren't super creative, I just wanted to try it out!  I was really going to wait to post pics until I get my new lens, but I just thought this color background was so cool, so I was excited to share!  Also, good news..the Brewers are going to state!  For those that don't know, it is Cullen's baseball team that he plays on in the summer.  We are super excited.  I will post some some pics of Avery and Cullen in there Brewer gear later!

Play Time!

Play time..for me that is!  I recently got Photoshop Elements, which is a less involved version of Photoshop.  I've started playing around with it and today I tried making a collage.  I did this one in about 2 minutes, but just wanted to see what it would look like on the blog.  Darn..too bad I didn't find this earlier in the summer.  How will I ever find time to play when I go back to work :)

Minnesota Zoo

Yesterday we met Aunt Jess, Uncle Joe, and Conner at the Minnesota Zoo and we had a BLAST!  It was so much fun.  The kids are pretty little yet, but they still seemed to have a great time.  I think they liked to watch all the kids and people as much as the animals.  There was also a splash park there we didn't know they had and they both loved the water.  Next year we will be more prepared and then they can really get wet!  They were both very good and were pretty sleepy by the end.  I think the adults had a really fun time too!  I think we are definitely going to make this an annual event.  I can only imagine how fun they will be next year!!  It was one of those days where it just made me so glad that Avery has a cousin so close to her in age.  It is so fun to watch them together.  They are going to have so much fun together over the years!!

Don't know if she was more excited to see the water or the other little girl
More water - she looks like she wants to drink it here

Conner was nice to share his rings with Avery.  It didn't matter she had her own, she wanted his!
