Avery and Mama

Well we realized that we had no pics of Avery with her mama since about December, so we thought it was time to take a few a few since she has gotten so much bigger, and of course is so cute :) ...so we had Cullen take a few this morning before we headed to Mankato for the day.

Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Avery celebrated her 1/2 birthday yesterday! She is officially 6 months old! Everything looked great at the doctor and she is 16 lbs. and 26 inches long! She is right at about the 50% in each, so the dr. said that is great, especially since she was a little early! To celebrate, we had a 1/2 birthday cake (any excuse for cake around here!). Avery wasn' t so sure about the cake, but I have a feeling it will grow on her! I should clarify, Avery did not eat cake, she is just sitting by it. Yes she is way to little for cake, just the family got to enjoy it for now!

Mama's New Toy!

Last night I bit the bullet and bought a Digital SLR camera! I got the Canon Rebel XTI that I've been looking at for months. Best Buy had a great deal on it, so we went for it! It is a lot of camera and I have TONS to learn, but can't wait! That will be my summer project! For now, I'm just going to have to play around and see what I can figure out on my own. Avery let me try it out a little on her today and was a goos sport, but eventually she had enough so we quit. If only she knew she doesn't have to back to Target for pics again, she would be so happy!

New Exersaucer!

Last weekend Avery got a new exersaucer! She loves it! She can't ever decide which toy she wants to play with, so she will start with one, and crank her little neck around to see the next one, and then want to go back to the other one. So many decisions! She can't really get her footing well enough to spin herself yet, so mom and dad have to help, but when she can, look out!

First Cereal!

So this is a week late, as we started last Sunday, but this is the first chance I've had to post these pics. She loved it! I can't wait to try fruits and veggies with her. So exciting! What a big girl!

Our First Walk

The weather finally decided to warm up just a little today, so we decided to go for our first walk. It was still a little chilly, so we got all bundled up and pretty much just cruised around the block, but the fresh air and sunshine was nice for all of us.
