Avery and Grandpa Dale

Avery was a lucky girl on Easter. She had her Grandpa and Nana Kauz and her Granpda Dale and Grammy over all at the same time! She was spoiled by them all, as always! Mom was slacking in the camera department that day and didn't even take it out until the very end of the day when Avery was snuggling with Granpda Dale. That is the only picture she took all day! Avery sure loves her grandparents!

Playing Hard!

Avery had discovered her new favorite toy in her little rings! She loves that she can really get a hold of them and fit them in her mouth. Then yesterday morning she was playing so hard on her playmat, I walked into the kitchen for a few minutes, came back and found her sound asleep on her playmat. So funny!

Happy Easter!

Hope you all have a happy Easter! Love, Avery

Baseball Time!

We have baseball fever since it is getting nicer outside! Avery decided she should try on her Twins windsuit that she got from a friend, and her sweet cap that cousin Noah picked out for her. She is ready to play ball!

Avery says, "What?! The Twins got rid of Johan Santana and Torii Hunter...I don't believe it. I want to talk to Carl."

Smilebox

I found a new website tonight called smilebox.com. It is a site where you can make online scrapbook pages..lots of fun. This is one I was playing around with. The Easter card below is also from there. Looks like I know what I will be doing during all my spare time! :)

Cousin Conner

Avery and her cousin Conner got to play after Avery's Baptism. They just looked so darn cute in their little outfits we had to try to get some pictures. Try being the key word in that statement! Conner is almost 6 months old, cute as a button, and very busy! He just didn't want to sit still for pictures! This is as good as we could get! They are going to have so much fun together!
"Conner, I think they want to take our picture..again. I think I will just eat my hands. How about you?" Conner says, "That's cool, but I'll stick with my foot!"
"Hey Conner, get back up here so we can get this over with!" Conner says, "Nah, I'm good!"

"Can't you people see we don't want our picture taken right now?!"

Avery's Baptism

Avery was baptized on November 14th at the NICU, but we just had her church recognition this past weekend. It was a very nice service, and we had lunch afterwards. Grammy Roxy made her delicious Lasagna and it was a hit! Avery got to wear her beautiful gown that her Great Aunt Rachel made for her out of her Nana's wedding dress. It was pretty special. It was a very special day!

Avery's Big Week!

Avery (and mom) made it through her first week at daycare this week! She seemed to do pretty well, but I think all the new kids, toys, etc made her pretty sleepy. Last night she fell asleep at about 8:00 and didn't wake up until about 7:00. Now, she is going on a two hour nap in her crib. She is soooo tired! It was a pretty long week for all of us but we made it! Yea! Only 3 more months until summer..but it's not like I'm counting!
Mom's first day back at work, and I got to stay home all day with Daddy! Oh no, he takes pictures of me too!

Avery on her way to go to her second day of daycare. There were no pics on the first day, mom and dad were too sad! :(

What a long week...Lori's house was lots of fun but it wore me out. I need a nap!

Off To Daycare

Well Avery has officially started daycare. No new pics yet, as mama is back to work :( We did take a picture of Avery this morning on her way to "school". It was her second day, as we didn't take a picture her first day. We didn't think of it and I was in no shape to take pictures. It has been hard on mom, and even dad. It just stinks sending your baby off to someone else. We have a great daycare lady and I know she is in a great place, I just hate to leave her. We are making progress though, as this morning I only cried downstairs when I said good-bye and after. Her Daddy drops her off on his way to work. Hopefully it will continue to get better! Avery seems to do fine though, and I'm sure she is playing and making lots of new friends. I will post some new pics of her here in the next few days. Take care!
